Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Maryland Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience in an inpatient hospital or inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred.
  • Demonstrated competency with common rehab equipment and modalities used in hospital-based physical therapy, such as therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance training, and assistive device training.
  • Minimum clinical experience preferred: 1+ year in acute care or inpatient rehab (preferred).


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Hospital (inpatient rehabilitation focus).
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Hours: AM 8 (days, 5x8 schedule).
  • Assignment Length: 13 week assignment.
  • Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other units within the facility as needed.
