Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Maine State Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings preferred. This includes acute post-acute care, restorative programs, and mobility/transfer training.
  • Experience with common SNF documentation systems and billing/therapy productivity expectations preferred.
  • Ability to manage caseloads independently, perform patient assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and provide skilled interventions for older adult populations.
