Location: Anacortes, WA
Schedule: 0.1 FTE / Per Diem | Variable Shifts
Salary Range: $29.05-$40.67

What You’ll Do

  • Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and

    can identify each patient’s requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.

    · Positions patients to produce a radiograph as prescribed by a qualified physician.

    · Provides immobilization devices as required.

    · Adjusts controls of equipment as needed to produce a radiograph as prescribed by a

    qualified physician.

    · Administers drugs or chemical mixtures orally or as enemas to render organs opaque.

    · Provides radiation protection as needed per exam.

    · Processes films by either automatic or hand processing.

    · Transports patients to and from patients waiting area and/or patient rooms assuming

    responsibility for their safety.

    · Maintains orderliness and cleanliness during procedures.

    · May answer phone and make appointments.

    · May be requested to retrieve and file jackets.

    · May purge files.

    · Must have demonstrated ability to interact positively with Administration, Directors,

    Managers, Supervisors, peers, co-workers, subordinates and visitors.

    · Must meet regular attendance standard and must stay at or below average sick leave utilization levels. 

What You’ll Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Enrollment in an accredited Radiology Technologist program

  • Current X-Ray Technician registration issued by the WA Department of Health.

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach

  • Commitment to teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement
