Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Wellspan Health.

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends as needed (likely every other weekend). Will be expected to work 1 of 2 upcoming holidays and surrounding days (i.e. Memorial Day or July 4th).

Floating Requirements: Will float to all MS floors and potentially rehab. Will float to floors that take stroke patients (3 South) and peritoneal dialysis (4 East).

Special Requests: If you have more than 5 days of requested time off, time will be added at the end of the contract to ensure a full 13 weeks. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. May care for COVID patients. Tobacco- and fragrance-free facility. Travel pairs are okay, but the client cannot guarantee matched schedules. Adult and geriatric patient population includes CHF exacerbations, respiratory illness, arrhythmias, general surgery, ortho, end-of-life care, COPD, and sepsis. Occasional stable open-heart surgery patients transferred out of ICU, typically day 4-5 post-op. Uses Artisight (virtual nurses) and virtual sitters.
