Multi-Media Support Specialist

Coordinates Facilities and/or Provides Media Support:

• Prioritizes, plans, and performs facility coordination and technical support of all media services (AV support for speakers, video filming, editing, distribution, online learning classroom support).
• Directs video productions (taping of content, editing with full post production) coordinates and schedules the use of facilities and equipment (special emphasis in online learning platforms of TEAMS and WebEx), and identifies media needs/services to support defined educational targets and outcomes.
  
  Technical Support/Scope of Service:
• Coordinates technical operation of NMHS media equipment and resources:  Employee New Television, TEAMS, WebEx (interactive videoconferencing) for webinars and livestreaming, the ARS-Audience Response System, and VIMEO.
• Troubleshoots customer issues, maintains quality assurance, and can analyze, diagnose, and respond to media needs in a timely manner.
• Performs audiovisual equipment assessments as required.
• Provides technical expertise/input concerning equipment selection, budgeting and operation - including inventory, replacement and/or repair of media resources.
  
  Facility Management :
• Prioritizes well and provides timely responses to room/equipment/meeting requests and ensures that customer needs are addressed and communicated.
• Operates as a part of a cross-trained group to ensure multiple user needs are met with resources available.  Communicates across departments/services and coordinates services for high reliability facility management.
  
  Instructor Duties:
• Promotes full facility/equipment utilization by developing, planning and facilitating audiovisual training – via live instruction and tutorial videos/other educational materials.
• Provides other training at the request of the Education Department leadership team.
  
  Leadership:
• Represents Education Department on multiple NMHS information teams through provision of high-quality facility operation and media support services.
  Requirements:
• Associates Degree in related field required; Bachelor preferred with demonstrated expertise in media software.
• Must be PC & MAC proficient.
