Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Qualivis Program - Ballad Health.

Additional Details:

Special Requests: Expected to actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside clinical care. RTO must be included with submission

Shift & Scheduling: Rotating weekends/holidays. Call Required: Yes

Required Skills/Experience: MS/Tele, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Respiratory, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Non-invasive airway management, Professional Topics and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience Teaching Hospital Experience Community Hospital Experience

Required Credentials: BSN required for international clinicians.
