Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Cerner is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Teaching hospital experience preferred. - Community hospital experience preferred. - Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Tracheostomy care/management, Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Feeding tube care and management, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Heparin, Insulin, PCA, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Telemetry - remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Ortho trauma, Total joint replacement, Post MI, Surgical drains

Shift & Scheduling: - Will work every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: - Will float between 2 Med Surg units as needed. - Floating is 100% required; candidates may float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby. - The two Med Surg units are designated for observation and inpatient status patients; diagnoses and nursing care remain the same for both.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
