Location: Anacortes, WA
Schedule: 0.8 FTE / 32 hours per week | Variable Shift
Salary Range: $22.97 – $34.45 per hour

What You’ll Do

  • Room patients, collect medical data, and assist providers with physical exams

  • Administer vaccines and medications (IV, PO, IM, SQ) per provider direction

  • Perform EKGs, spirometry, glucose testing, INR, pregnancy, TB, and other CLIA-waived tests

  • Coordinate patient flow and support providers in managing daily clinic operations

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure understanding of treatments and follow-up care

  • Manage records, documentation, and information systems with accuracy and confidentiality

  • Assist with inventory management, supply stocking, and equipment checks

  • Monitor and log vaccine refrigerators, oxygen tanks, and medication expiration dates

  • Support ongoing quality and safety initiatives across the clinic

  • Uphold HIPAA compliance and Island Health confidentiality standards

What You’ll Bring

  • Medical Assistant – Certified credential issued by the WA Department of Health (required)

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)

  • LPN license issued by the WA Department of Health (if applicable)

  • Two (2) years of clinical experience in an outpatient or physician practice preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning
