We are seeking a detail-oriented full-time, temporary Billing Clerk (12–16 months) to join our team and support the day-to-day billing operations for our healthcare facility. This role is responsible for preparing and submitting electronic and paper insurance claims, reviewing and addressing insurance denials, re-billing claims as needed, batching refunds, and responding to billing-related inquiries from patients, insurance companies, and other parties. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and an aptitude for clerical work. Candidates should have basic computer and math skills, the ability to type at least 40 WPM, and preferably experience in hospital or clinic billing, knowledge of medical terminology, and familiarity with third-party payers.
