As a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of both mothers and babies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Utilizing the nursing process to assess and identify patient needs
- Establishing and implementing individualized care plans
- Managing high-risk pregnancy cases, including preterm labor and prenatal testing
- Providing education and support for childbirth preparation
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintaining proficiency in fetal monitoring and emergency interventions
Requirements for this role include:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery/OB experience
- Fetal Monitoring Experience
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA), AWHONN, NRP
- Previous travel experience is highly preferred
- Active New Hampshire state nursing license
- Ability to work every other weekend
