Clinical Therapist

Job Description

A licensed Clinical Therapist is needed for a residential treatment setting focused on whole-person, evidence-based care for individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health needs.

Requirements

  • Maryland counseling license (CAC-AD, CSC-AD, LGADC, LCADC, LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-C; preferred: LCPC/LCADC/LCSW-C)
  • 1–3 years’ experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment
  • Knowledge of co-occurring disorders, case management, and MAT
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment; proficiency in MS Office

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide evidence-based counseling and recovery-focused interventions
  • Educate clients and families; support MAT and aftercare planning
  • Teach coping skills and address barriers to recovery
  • Coordinate referrals to community resources
  • Participate in outreach and perform other related duties
