Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience within the past 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Med/Surg experience.

Required Credentials: Certification/Licensure required to work as an RN or LPN/LVN in TN.

Unit/Facility Details: Additional Notes: Unit Secretary/Monitor Tech stationed at Medsurg nurses station.

Shift & Scheduling: • Weekend Hours: Rotate every other weekend unless there is a need and will be scheduled more than every other weekend. • Call Requirements: Yes, Depending on census, staff is placed on call or floated.

Floating Requirements: to medical detox, ICU, OB or ER (Task assignments for OB and ER), will take low level medsurg overflow patients in ICU with ratio of 1:3

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 2 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
