MED SURG - POST OP - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required from last 12 months.

• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

• 3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

• 9 months of acute care experience within the past 12 months.• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Tristar Division.

Required Skills/Experience: Med/Surg Experience, ability to prioritize care, multitask, start IV’s, basic wound care, maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, & chest tubes.

Required Credentials: Comprehensive Stroke, ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center, Certified Chest Pain Center

Shift & Scheduling: 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4 week schedule

Floating Requirements: Contract labor is first to float; go by rotation when there are multiple C/L staff scheduled

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
