Registered Nurse (RN)

Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds, or standing/walking and sitting for long periods of time.

Must work at least 40 hours per week Monday – Friday 7:45-4:15pm

This position is for float nurse between 2 locations, IVP at KY Clinic South and IVP at Good Samaritan Hospital.  The Interventional Pain Nurse is responsible for preparation, assessment, and education of patients prior to procedures, monitoring the patient during procedures, administration and monitoring of sedated patients, and providing care in recovery post-procedure.  Ability to manage quick patient turnover, document in real time, pay attention to detail, and work in a fast-paced environment is required.   There is an expectation of some phone triage coverage.

The Nurse Clinical Ambulatory provides disease specific patient care to a group of patients who have serious acute and/or chronic health events or who are seeking healthcare to maintain their state of wellness. Responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to skilled assessments, care plans and care plan implementation, patient education and clinical evaluation or interventions. This position requires working with medical professionals who are working under time and efficiency constraints in a busy ambulatory care setting with a patient centered care focus on quality, safety, and service. A working knowledge of enterprise, nursing, departmental policies, protocols, and procedures is needed to be successful.
