Get to Know Your Team: 

  • Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology, and oncology services.
Responsibilities:
  • Performs technical and patient care functions during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiovascular and Electrophysiology labs. 
  • Monitors and maintains equipment. 
  • May serve in the role of charge or lead.
  • Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

  • Associates degree in either nursing or radiology, or a graduate of an allied health accredited program, including EMTs or Paramedics, or Respiratory Therapist.
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

  • ACLS; Radiologic Technologist Certificate (RT), EMT, Paramedic, or Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Radiology Tech or EMT-Paramedic
  • One (1) year of previous job-related experience. Clinical educational experience may be substituted for work experience.
  • Advanced credentialing in cardiovascular and electrophysiology is strongly recommended. RCIS, RCES, RCVT, ARRT(RT(R)), CV, CI, or VI
