Physical Requirements
The physical requirements for this position include regularly sitting, standing, walking, with some pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects weighing up to 10lbs and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects up to 50lbs.
Shift
Night shift; 12-hour shifts; 6 shifts per pay period
Job Summary
The Vascular Surgery night shift APP works in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team. 

The APP functions as a member of the surgical management team for cardiac, lung, thoracic, and vascular surgery. In conjunction with the attending, the APP will oversee care from admission to discharge. 

The APP may provide care throughout the system including progressive and telemetry. The APP has a strong foundation in evidenced based practice and education and has a responsibility for ensuring an environment of safe quality care.

The APP demonstrates an advanced level of medical and nursing knowledge, clinical and technical competency, sound clinical judgment, professionalism as it relates to interpersonal and general communication skills, timely and compliant documentation, and takes responsibility for ongoing professional development and competency validation.
