Overview
The DFCI Cytometry Cores provide expertise and access to cutting-edge conventional and spectral Flow Cytometry and Mass Cytometry in a shared use setting. The Cytometry Technologist I will receive on the job training in performing flow cytometric analysis, sorting and immunophenotyping by mass cytometry (CyTOF). We are seeking a dynamic technician to assume responsibilities including the operation, calibration and maintenance of Cell Sorters and Analyzers along with a XT Mass Cytometers, data acquisition, analysis, and documentation of results. Participate in the development and validation of new procedures and tests in the laboratory. BS/BA in a Biological Science required, BS Medical Technology degree, strongly preferred
Minimum 0-2 year experience in a research flow cytometry laboratory setting strongly preferred. Experience operating flow cytometers and/or Fluorescence-Activated cell sorters preferred.

The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate’s relevant experience, skills and qualifications.
For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
