The General, Endocrine & Metabolic Surgery ( GEMS ) Inpatient APP collaborates with a multidisciplinary healthcare team and functions as a member of the general surgery management team. This requires managing all aspects of patients from admission to the operating room, and discharge. The APP will work as part of a team with faculty, trainees, and students. The APP will be responsible for inpatient care including evaluating consults in the emergency room and hospital setting, daily visits, and coordination of discharge.
