Job Summary The District Medical Director works in collaboration and reports to the Territory Medical Director and directly oversees medical and clinical activities for Cano Health within their assigned district. This role blends clinical leadership with a strong emphasis on physician development, education, and mentorship. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Lead educational initiatives, as recommended by the VP of Quality Care & Medical Integrity to improve provider performance, quality of care, and adherence to standard of care practices. Ensure noncompliant PCPs are identified and addressed weekly through structured clinical review and follow-up discussions. Perform medical record audits quarterly to evaluate compliance with established clinical pathways.
