To provide independent advanced level nurse practitioner clinical expertise to patients and their families on an on-going basis. This includes the management of chronic stable medical conditions, routine care, acute or critical care, and medical and specialty protocols (e.g. chemotherapy) as defined by standardized procedures or independently based on licensure. This may include non-invasive or invasive procedures, surgical procedures, including operative first assist per approved standardized procedures as identified by the list available on the Medical Staff Office. Employee s primary job duty shall be to provide direct patient care at the Assigned Location or at any other clinic site as assigned by the Division Chief based on patient needs and business objectives of the University. Clinic and procedure volumes are expected to align with divisional productivity standards. The employee s regular schedule will include 4-hour session lengths, consisting of three in-person direct patient care sessions and five procedure sessions per week.
