General Summary Provides hospital-based clinical and administrative services involving primary medical care to patients in an internal medicine practice setting. Duties and Responsibilities Essential Functions: Provides internal medicine services at designated hospital. Provides in-hospital patient care and consultations as required. When assigned to York Hospital: ? Participates in non-traditional inpatient services such as admitting/managing patients at Select Specialty Hospital and in the pre-surgical assessment program and others as the need arises. ? Assists with the operation of the resident and medical student teaching program for the Department of Medicine. ? May assist with resident recruitment and evaluation as required. Common Expectations: Participates in Medical Staff activities as required and/or as requested. Observes the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the Hospital and the Medical Staff.
