General Summary Provides clinical and administrative services involving cardiovascular medical care in a specialty practice setting. Duties and Responsibilities Essential Functions: Examination and evaluation to identify, prevent, diagnose and treatment of diseases related to cardiovascular disease as well as other contributing disease states as presented. Perform technical patient care procedures ranging from echocardiography, diagnostic cardiac catheterization, minor surgical interventions, and or other related intervention to diagnosis and treat patients? condition. Read non-invasive cardiac and vascular imaging as allowed by organizations bylaws and individual physicians credentials. Testing may include echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, stress testing, and nuclear stress testing. Prescribe and administer medications in the treatment of patient?s cardiovascular disease and other medical disorders. Monitor the effectiveness of treatments to make necessary changes...
