Job Title: Medical Assistant - Primary and Urgent Care Clinic
Location: BeeperMD Primary and Urgent Care Clinic, Boynton Beach, FL/Boca Raton, FL
Overview:
BeeperMD is seeking a passionate and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in Boynton Beach, FL/Boca Raton, FL. This is a dynamic role that blends clinical and administrative responsibilities, providing a meaningful opportunity to impact patient care in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties:
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and patient inquiries.
- Maintain an organized front office and ensure compliance with clinic protocols.
Clinical Duties:
- Prepare patient rooms and assist with clinical procedures.
- Record vital signs, perform lab draws, EKGs, wound care, and assist in other medical tasks.
- Support providers with assessments and patient care delivery.
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant certification (Required).
- At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare facility (Primary Care or Urgent Care preferred).
- Proficiency in EMR systems and knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and ICD/CPT coding (preferred).
- Additional certifications (Phlebotomy, IV, X-Ray) are preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
Work Schedule:
- Schedule: Full-Time, Part-Time, or Weekends (Clinic hours: Monday-Saturday, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM).
