Application Deadline: 01/15/2026 Job Summary: Under the supervision of the 2nd floor Manager and at the direction of Registered Nurses; supports and provides high-quality and competent patient care specific to each surgical patients’ condition and treatment plan. The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: transporting and repositioning of patients and equipment, meeting each patient’s care needs, assisting with preparation of 2nd floor, and properly cleaning of any area of the facility according to policy and procedures. The 2nd floor CNA demonstrates clinical competence and knowledge of principles and practices of aseptic technique, handling of specimens and biohazard material, and universal precautions. The Second Floor CNA demonstrates knowledge of physician order sets per surgical procedure, Meditech documentation, and use of medical and patient care equipment and supplies.
