TJ Samson Community Hospital has been a critical part in caring for the residents of south central Kentucky for 90 years. 

TJ Regional Health, Inc. serves as the decision-making umbrella for T.J. Samson Community Hospital, TJ Health Partners, TJ Health Pavilion, TJ Health Columbia and associated clinics. Additional health care services are provided at The Clinic at Walmart, TJ Urgent Care, primary and specialty care physicians and outpatient care at the TJ Health Pavilion and family medicine clinics in Cave City and Tompkinsville as well as a school-based medicine program with Metcalfe County Schools.  We are also proud to announce that we have expanded the TJ Health brand into Edmonton, Columbia and Russell Springs with the purchase of Westlake Regional Hospital, now TJ Health Columbia. This position is responsible for assisting in the continual organization readiness for regulatory licensing and survey activities at the federal, state and local level under the Chief Nursing Officer.  The Regulatory Accreditation Coordinator understands and assists the Chief Nursing Officer to facilitate compliance of all regulatory standards set forth by Joint Commission and SMS or other accreditation agencies.  The Regulatory Accreditation Coordinator assures that facility administration, physicians and front line staff are knowledgeable about current standards.  He/she will interact with clinicians from varying disciplines and clinical units to promote and educate staff to improve readiness and compliance.  This position reports to the Chief Nursing Officer. Minimum Education Bachelor degree required, will consider in-progress BSN with agreed upon completion date Minimum Work Experience Minimum 5 years experience in healthcare/acute hospital setting required.  Proficiency in performance excellence and Lean methodology preferred.  Leadership experience preferred. Job Summary  The position of Health Education/Outreach Specialist will be a representative of TJ Regional health responsible for communicating to businesses, community’s members, schools and other community groups the importance of health and the role that TJ can play in helping them achieve optimal health status. In addition to educating the public on health related topics and services this position will be responsible for identifying and planning for health care disparities in all TJ Regional Health markets. This position reports to the Education Department. The position of ASAP Coordinator coordinates funding and activities for the Kentucky Agency for Substance Abuse Policy serving Barren, Hart, and Metcalfe counties. Communicates with board members and various community stakeholders regarding activities of ASAP. Identifies and applies for grants to sustain the program. Implements evidence based programs, designs surveys, and evaluates tools for community to help gauge services regarding alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs in the tri-county area.
