Job Summary:   To perform diversified duties in radiology, including preparation and positioning of patients, operation of x-ray equipment, ordering x-ray supplies, and keeping abreast of x-ray procedures and safety precautions and procedures in the x-ray area. Work in a physician's office drawing blood, assisting providers with patients, obtaining vitals and medical history. Returns patient calls and provides information to the patient at the direction of the provider. Provides front-office support duties including, but not limited to, obtaining referrals and pre-certifications, collecting co-pays/pre-payments, updating patient demographics, answering telephones and scheduling appointments. Qualifications:  Two-year degree from an accredited radiology school program. Must be registered by ARRT.  Ongoing participation in continuing education. Must have good customer service skills.
