Location/Department: Osgood Primary Care/Minor Care PRN - as needed Job Summary: Performs a wide range of clinical duties while assisting the provider in giving quality care in a medical office setting. Primary responsibilities include; gathering patient data, chart scribing & chart preparation/review. Will demonstrate the knowledge required to provide age-appropriate care for the patients served in the practice. Must complete required computer training & develop a strong working knowledge of the patient chart in the EHR to be aware of health insurance guidelines for pre-authorizations, referral processes, & have ability to schedule diagnostics/specialist visits as ordered by the provider.
