Overview
This position represents registered or registry-eligible polysomnographic technologists with a complete and thorough understanding of all processes and procedures related to sleep diagnostics. Patient testing and record scoring are the main functions of this position. Registered Polysomnographic technologists will aide in decision processes as they relate from patient to patient and working with non-registered PSGs, trainees and students.
Qualifications
RPSGT by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists is preferred upon hiral. Certification of BLS is preferred for hiral processes while mandatory upon completion of the provisional period. Education: High school degree / GED is required. Further educational requirements are based on the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
