Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in the implementation of patient therapy programs.
- Record patient responses and progress within patient charts.
- Communicate with physical therapy team regarding patient treatment plans and progress.
- Educate patients and families on post-therapy exercises and home-based recovery techniques.
- Assist with patient mobility and physical therapy exercises.
- Ensure the therapy area is prepared and properly maintained with necessary supplies and equipment.
Required Skills
- Ability to implement and modify specific therapy treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
