This position is instrumental in providing specialized care to patients with respiratory conditions in both facility-based and home-based settings. Our Respiratory Therapists are crucial to the recovery and well-being of our patients, playing a key role in our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, home health agencies, and hospice agencies. Responsibilities
- Assess patient respiratory condition using diagnostic tests and medical equipment.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and condition.
- Manage and operate devices such as mechanical ventilators, therapeutic gas administration apparatus, environmental control systems, and aerosol generators.
- Monitor patient response to treatment and modify treatment plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and health maintenance.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
