Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit Travel Registered Nurse

Trusted Health seeks a Travel Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to deliver high-acuity, evidence-based care for complex adult patients. In this travel role, you will perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications and therapies, manage ventilators and invasive lines, and respond rapidly to changes in patient status. You'll collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, and document accurately in the EMR. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to high-acuity med-surg ICU patients
• Perform ongoing assessments and monitor hemodynamic status and vital signs
• Administer medications, blood products, and complex therapies per protocols
• Manage ventilators, central lines, drains, and other invasive devices
• Respond to emergencies and changes in patient condition using ACLS protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatments and post-discharge care
• Document care, assessments, and interventions accurately in the EMRAdhere to infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards
• Adapt quickly to new hospital settings and unit workflows as a traveler
