Livewell Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our collaborative veterinary health team. In this role, you'll support exams, anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, and lab diagnostics while providing gentle, attentive nursing care to pets. You'll educate clients on preventative medicine and treatment plans, maintain accurate medical records, and help ensure a clean, efficient clinical environment. Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments for small animals.
- Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery for surgical and dental procedures.
- Provide nursing care, including venipuncture, catheter placement, and medication administration.
- Collect and process lab samples; run in-house diagnostics and maintain accurate records.
- Support dental procedures, including prophylaxis and dental radiographs.
- Educate clients on preventative care, treatment plans, and at-home care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked treatment, surgery, and exam area.
- Collaborate with a supportive team to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care.
