Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and hospital protocols
• Monitor vital signs, recognize changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and care teams to coordinate safe, high-quality care
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, post-discharge care, and self-management
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record and maintain regulatory and safety standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and use data and technology tools to enhance patient outcomes
