Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based bedside nursing care to diverse patient populations in acute and specialty settings.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely while monitoring patient responses and documenting accurately.
- Adapt quickly to new hospital environments, EMR systems, and unit protocols across multiple assignments.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans to support optimal outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, case managers, and support staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, Joint Commission standards, and state/federal regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and best-practice implementation.
- Advocate for patients while demonstrating cultural sensitivity, professionalism, and clinical excellence.
- Collaborate closely with Accountable Healthcare Staffing leadership to align assignments with skills and career goals.
