Job Description
We areseeking a Locums Hospital Medicine Physician for an ongoing opportunity inPortsmouth, New Hampshire. This position is ideal for a physician who enjoysteaching, mentoring, and participating in a collaborative hospital environment.

- 7 on / 7 off block schedule
- 10- and 12-hour shifts available
- Physicians must be willing to work 7 consecutive shifts, preferably in blocks of 2 weeks per month
- Day and night coverage
- 16-20 patients per physician per day
- 2 dedicated nocturnists
- Closed ICU
- No procedures required
- EMR: Meditech
- Teaching and mentoring opportunities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient hospital medicine care.
- Evaluate and manage hospitalized adult patients.
- Conduct daily rounds and coordinate treatment plans.
- Manage admissions, discharges, and cross-coverage.
- Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in medical education and mentor residents/learners.
- Engage in hospital operations and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM)
- Active New Hampshire medical license or ability to obtain
- Strong inpatient hospital medicine experience
- Interest in teaching and mentoring preferred
- Ability to work consecutive 7-day blocks
- Comfortable with day, night, and rotating call coverage
