Family Practice - Without OB Physician

We areseeking a Board-Certified Primary Care Physician for a locum tenens opportunityin Dorchester, Massachusetts. This outpatient assignment offers the opportunityto provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care in a collaborativepractice with a focus on preventive medicine and chronic disease management.

Compensation: $140 Per Hour

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Perform annual wellness visits, preventive screenings, and routine health maintenance.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate specialty referrals when appropriate.
• Manage chronic diseases including diabetes, hypertension, COPD, asthma, and hyperlipidemia.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, and support staff to deliver coordinated, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active Massachusetts medical license
• Current DEA registration
• Current BLS certification
