Job Description
A healthcare network in Maine is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or licensed Physician to join their Primary Care team at one of their outpatient clinics in Cumberland County.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7:30am to 5pm/6pm
- Setting: Outpatient clinic
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients in an outpatient setting
- Manage a daily patient load of approximately 18 to 20 patients
- Conduct routine visits, follow-up care, and ongoing patient assessments
- Collaborate with clinical support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and care coordination
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate records in the EMR system
Qualifications:
- Active NP or physician license and ability to practice in a primary care setting
- Experience providing primary care in an outpatient environment
- Ability to work 2 to 5 shifts per week for an assignment through March 2027
Desired Skills:
- Experience using Athena EMR
- Comfort working with 1:1 MA support and RN support
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume clinic setting
