How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare: Heavy pulling/pushing is required and applicant must be able to successfully push/pull linen carts that weigh up to 750 lbs. Successful Candidate will walk 3 to 5 miles per day inside hospital. Some travel may be required for this position. The Linen Technician ensures continuity of patient care by providing patient care textiles and related supplies to departments/practices. The Linen Technician distributes medical textiles products and related supplies through the par level systems. The Linen Technician services practices/departments supply par levels which includes counting, restocking and maintaining the Exam Rooms, Clean Utility Rooms and Treatment Rooms par levels. Job Summary :  To perform a variety of cleaning, janitorial and related duties as required to maintain hospital building and all assigned areas within the hospital in a sanitary, orderly and attractive condition. To move light furniture, equipment and supplies in all work areas as needed which include patient rooms, nursing stations, corridors, lounges, bathrooms, nourishment rooms, utility rooms, and offices. Qualifications: Basic ability to read and understand simple instructions. No prior work experience required. Some ability to follow specific documented procedures.
