The Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery is responsible for the direct delivery of patient care to laboring patients, delivery of newborns, postpartum care and care of newborns. The Registered Nurse is accountable for the administration of, observation, charting and reporting effects of medications, intravenous procedures, and other therapeutic and diagnostic measures in a safe and accurate manner while operating within established policies, procedures and regulations. The Registered Nurse is an integral member of the patient care team and is expected to be a resource person regarding patient care, specialty area of nurse and development of other staff. Requirements: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Active RN license issued by the WA Department of Health.
