The Leiomyosarcoma (LMS) Project Manager will support LMS focused research within the Sarcoma Center at DFCI, including a new collaboration between Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Count Me In (CMI), a non-profit cancer research initiative, with the goal of improving early detection of a rare form of uterine cancer called leiomyosarcoma. This project is planned to assess how radiologists reading MRI scans may discern whether a uterine growth could represent a benign uterine growth (fibroid) or potentially a cancerous uterine leiomyosarcoma.
