Responsibilities The primary purpose of the Perioperative Services Associate position is to be a vital member of the Perioperative Service/Surgical Team and achieves efficient/safe patient care through the operating room turnover and well maintained supplies, instruments and equipment. As a member of the Surgical Team they demonstrate team collaboration, communication and participate in process and performance improvements activities. The Perioperative Services Associate is knowledgeable of Infection Control Mandates and activities, regulatory agency standards and Joint Commission Safety Alerts and mandates.
