JOB SUMMARY A Patient Sitter supervises patients and provides compassionate care before and after treatment and during long inpatient stays. Patient sitters may also be required to transport patients. These professionals replace older forms of patient supervision like restraints and seclusion rooms. Patient sitters work in conjunction with the various patient care Managers, Directors, and Clinical Care Supervisor, House Supervisors, RNs, AND CNAs to ensure safety and companionship to help patients through challenging medical issues.
