The Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) is an experienced clinician who demonstrates expert knowledge of general hematology/oncology, incorporating knowledge of general internal medicine and medical complications unique to hematology/oncology patients. The Satellite Float NP/PA works closely with the collaborating physician as well as other members of multidisciplinary teams at each of the DFCI satellite locations (including Milford and Foxborough) to develop and coordinate a plan of care for patients. The satellite float NP/PA will be assigned to a satellite location on a time limited basis, based upon the needs of the site which may include staff vacancy, leave of absences or patient volume.
