Description The Floor Tech cleans and services all areas of the hospital and buildings owned by the hospital.  They arrange furniture in an organized and orderly fashion.  They keep all equipment and storage areas clean and organized.  They perform a variety of related duties.  The floor Tech scrubs, strips, refinishes and buffs floors routinely.  They also collect and remove all waste accurately.  They shampoo, scrub and/or extract furniture and carpeted areas.  Has no access to patient health information. May have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities. Requirements Ability to read and write and follow written and oral directions.
