FGH prefers a certified Ultrasonographer/Echocardiographer working in these positions. We encourage an Ultrasound Tech willing to train in Echo to apply. FGH will assist with training/school for the Echo certification. You will not regret this opportunity. This Ultrasound/Echo position is a FT @ 36 hours a week. No days/weekends/holidays or call. The tech will be an integrative part of the Radiology team providing support in the department. This could be helping at the front desk or assistance with patients. This position performs a variety of complex ultrasound procedures including pelvic, abdominal, small parts, and routine vascular exams. May also perform more complex imaging and on all age groups. Heart Plaza Imaging is a busy outpatient cardiovascular diagnostic center. We perform ultrasound echo and vascular diagnostic studies, venous ablation procedures, and cardiac stress testing. Job Summary Performs diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures, assists with venous ablation procedures, provides patient care, order supplies, maintains records/logs, performs various scheduled upkeeps, monitors expiration dates of supplies, chemicals, ect. Performs necessary clerical and scheduling. Assists Supervisor as requested.
