The primary purpose of the Assistant Manager Retail Services position is to provide primary management and coordination for the Bistro and other designated Newark Campus Retail Venues; and in the absence of the Retail Services Manager is responsible for Retail Services. Associate Degree in Food Service Management, Hotel Restaurant Management, or other related Hospitality field is required. A minimum of four (4) years of progressive lead/management experience in a high volume food service or other related retail operation. Additional related experience may be substituted for the degree on a year for year basis. National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation for ServSafe Protection Certification is required or must obtain ServSafe Protection Certificate within first 6 to 12 months of employment and maintain throughout employment.
