This position and related job responsibilities is critical to the overall Department of Pediatrics serving as a resource for all areas related to faculty recruitment, hiring, onboarding, continuity of credentialing, appointments, and promotions, as well as overall organization of faculty affairs. This position serves as the main point of contact and the recruitment center for healthcare providers. This position interacts with colleagues in academic medicine, both internal and external to UK, this job interacts directly with senior leadership across the entire organization. This associate must possess strong ethical standards, be able to interact with and represent UKHC , the COM , KCH , and the Department of Pediatrics, and uphold professional and confidentially requirements. The associate will be organized, have excellent time-management abilities, and be detail-oriented.

Serves as the administrative support staff to the unit and Leadership team. Provides clerical and administrative which includes but not limited to typing, filing and variety of office duties as assigned.
