Job Description Summary 6W Burn Trauma Stepdown Unit is a 24 Bed Stepdown Unit at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. 6W is a unique unit at MUSC and within the state as the only Burn Stepdown unit. All 6W’s rooms are monitored with 8 rooms being ventilator compatible. All nurses are trained in complex burn dressing changes and are supported by members of the Burn Team and Free-Floating Charge Nurse.
