Very large Cardiothoracic program with over 1,500 heart surgeries performed annually The provider would first assist in the OR, harvest conduit, vein and artery via endoscopic or open. Cases include all open heart from CABGs to valves, plus heart and lung transplant. We are the tertiary center for all cases requiring MCS support, so we also do LVADs and a lot of ECMO as well.

Seeking candidate to work 2 weeks on/2 weeks off! Working a minimum of 50 hours per week each week. This is a 6 month contract! Would like a seasoned PA in heart surgery to work in a full continuum of care position who has at least 2 years of Cardiothoracic PA full continuum of care experience. This position is primarily in the OR and first assisting, but some ICU and Floor/Pre/Post Op care. Uses Maquet 30+ year old CT surgical program with 2-3 Cardiac surgeons and 3 PAs.
