Nuclear Medicine Technologist-Varied Relief Shifts-Inpatient

CaroMont Health is hiring an Inpatient Relief Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work Varied shifts within our Imaging Services team at the CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC!

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Roles and Responsibilities:

• To operate scintillation detectors and computers which produce images and measure concentrations of radionuclides in specific body areas and body products to obtain information for diagnosis. 
• To assist with the therapeutic administration of radionuclides.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program. 
• Registered by CNMT or ARRT. 
• Current BLS certification required. 
• Thorough knowledge and skill in performing nuclear medicine procedures Considerable ability to accept new responsibilities as new equipment and examinations are introduced into the department.
